The task.queue is not being processed

1. SSH to the server and make sure the following file doesn't exist

/usr/local/directadmin/data/task.queue

If the file exists, view it's content. If there are 1 or 2 lines, then the dataskq is not running.

2. Look into /var/log/cron and see if the dataskq is running (logged every minute). If not, run the following commands:

chmod 644 /etc/cron.d/directadmin_cron
/sbin/service crond restart

3. Make sure crond is running
"cron" on FreeBSD): ps ax | grep cron

4. Restart cron daemon:

/sbin/service crond restart

Check the log files: /var/log/cron and /var/log/messages for possible problems with the /etc/cron.d/directadmin_cron file. (/etc/crontab on FreeBSD).

If crond doesn't exist on your server, (rpm based systems) run the following commands:

5. If you've tried all of the above, yet task.queue is still not being processed, try restarting it manually:

/usr/local/directadmin/dataskq d
