How do I remove all messages from the Exim queue?

SSH to your server and run the following command at the command line:

exim -bp | awk '/^ *[0-9]+[mhd]/{print "exim -Mrm " $3}' | sh

This command will list all the messages in the queue and use awk to extract the message ID. Then it rewrites that list of message ID's to Exim's internal message deletion functions and executes those commands in sequence.
